Brian West

Producer, Director, Scriptwriter

Brian began his career working as an assistant producer for ITV Sport, and has since worked as a promo director, series producer, producer/director and editor for many terrestrial and satellite channels including Channel 4,  Discovery, Animal Planet, BBC1, Hallmark, Viasat, Channel Five, ITV1, and Challenge. He recently produced the Health Lottery Draw on Saturday nights for Channel 5.

Brian has managed major projects for BBC Multiplatform Studios and has worked as both a multimedia consultant and promotions director for Big Brother. As well as being an accomplished producer, author and scriptwriter, Brian has a strong background in visual identity, broadcast design, branded content, on-air promotions strategy, short programming, and live continuity. He is a visiting lecturer on the BA scriptwriting courses at London South Bank University and Bournemouth University. In 2001, Brian co-wrote and was the series producer of the cult Channel 4 comedy series “Pets”.
